Cash payment in an online store?

Our vision at COMPESO is to make cash, checkouts and counters superfluous in the coming years. By shifting orders to the ATM and the online store, higher concession sales are achieved and queuing at the counter is avoided. Of course, this is a marathon, not a sprint.

We take the feedback from our customers, guests and the industry very seriously and understand you. The concern of losing certain target groups in this way is understandable. How should children pay online? What about the older generation? My guests don’t want this. Concerns that certainly sounded similar with the first tickets on the Internet and at the ATM. Of course, we have to get our guests used to this change. The general trend in retail helps us here. More and more cashless payments are being made at self-service checkouts. Due to their success, these cash registers are constantly being expanded. To make the transition easy for guests in our web stores, we have now introduced “cash payment at the cinema” in addition to the familiar digital payment methods. As usual, your guests can select tickets and concessions in the online store and pay for their order in cash (or by other means of payment) at the cinema.
